Project Team
Ukraine after victory is about more than rebuilding infrastructure.
It is about rebuilding values. Our team brings together scholars, journalists, facilitators, and civic leaders who have dedicated their work to exploring a fundamental question: What kind of common good can unite a society shaped by the pain and diverse experiences of war? They do not offer ready-made answers. Instead, they create spaces where understanding can emerge. Their tools are thoughtful questions, dialogue facilitation, and the ability to listen – even to those with whom they disagree.
The project is organised around four thematic areas:
Values and Reconstruction
How can we speak about reconstruction without reducing it to roads, buildings, and budgets? What values and shared meanings can unite a society in which every person carries different losses, memories, and hopes for the future? Experts in this area include philosophers, researchers, and public intellectuals working at the intersection of ethics, social thought, and civic dialogue.
Dialogue Facilitation
Dialogue in a divided society is not an innate talent—it is a skill that can be learned. This strand of the project focuses on creating spaces where people can genuinely listen to one another without silencing or dismissing different perspectives. Our facilitators have extensive experience working in contexts of conflict, trauma, and deep social polarization.
Journalism and Media
Words shape reality—especially during and immediately after war. This part of the programme helps young people tell the stories of their communities, their experiences, and their vision for Ukraine’s future. Participants develop media literacy, responsible communication skills, and learn how to create media content that strengthens social cohesion rather than deepening divisions.
Young People as Part of the Team
The project is not only designed for young people—it is built together with them. Alongside experienced experts, young civic leaders play a central role in the project: leaders of youth organisations, members of youth councils and civic initiatives, and people who have already brought about meaningful change in their own communities. They are not interns or symbolic representatives. They are full members of the project team, ensuring a living connection between the project’s vision and the young people for whom it was created.
