Youth for the Future of Ukraine
Dialogue, Research, and Creative Media Work for the Consolidation of Ukrainian Society and Orthodoxy
You build the country.
Or you watch others do it.
A project for young people who want more than just to get through these times—for those who are already thinking about what Ukraine will be like after victory and are ready to take action today.
What is the project about?
Youth for the Future of Ukraine is a seven-month programme for young leaders aged 20–35 from small towns and rural communities across Ukraine.
The project brings together 16 youth teams to explore the values that should guide Ukraine’s reconstruction and the pursuit of the common good through forums, mentoring, dialogue, and the collaborative development of policy and vision documents.
Why does it matter?
Ukraine must rebuild even while the war continues. But reconstruction is about more than infrastructure. It is about the values on which we build the new Ukraine, who has a voice in shaping it, and whether the perspectives of small towns and rural communities are truly heard.
Today, young people outside major cities rarely have opportunities for serious discussions about the country’s future. Even more rarely are they the authors of change rather than the recipients of decisions made by others.
This project seeks to change that.
