Maksym Heruk

23 years old, Varash

Master’s degree graduate of the National Aviation University (specialty 141 “Electric Power Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electromechanics”), member of the Varash Youth Council, active civic activist and organizer. He is involved in developing youth projects, supporting useful initiatives, and organizing events for the community. He works to create conditions in which every young resident can develop their skills, find their path, and be heard.

Principles and credo: Youth work is not about formal meetings in ties, but about real action, a space for development, and an opportunity to change the city for the better.

An 11th-grade student and Vice President of the student self-government at Varash Lyceum No. 5, a representative of the Youth Council under the Varash City Council, and a multiple winner of regional and national-level academic competitions. She actively participates in the organization and implementation of local youth and civic projects, particularly in the areas of educational development and fostering dialogue between local authorities and proactive student self-government bodies.

A physical education teacher and a person who sincerely believes that sport and education are two important components of a successful life. A trained educator, she graduated from a pedagogical college with a degree in Physical Education Teaching. She is convinced that investing in one’s own knowledge and health is the most valuable thing each person can do for themselves.

22 years old, Varash

A Master’s student specializing in Cybersecurity, working with network modeling and cryptography. Deputy Head of the Youth Council under the Varash City Council, overseeing the committee on veterans’ affairs, inclusion, and volunteering. She believes that a technical mindset and empathy are the best combination for making meaningful changes in the community.
