As part of the project “Youth for the Future of Ukraine: Dialogue, Research, and Creative Media Work for the Consolidation of Ukrainian Society and Orthodoxy,” registration is now open for the First Youth Forum, which will take place on 24–27 June 2026 in the Kyiv region.
We live in a time when the future of Ukraine is being shaped not only on the battlefield, but also in communities, universities, youth organisations, and religious and civic environments. That is why we are looking for young people who are ready not merely to talk about change, but to become its creators.
🌿 The Forum will bring together youth leaders from different regions of Ukraine, representatives of secular and religious communities, and young people from small towns, villages, and Kyiv to seek answers together to the following questions:
- What kind of Ukraine do we want to see after the war?
- Around which values can its reconstruction take place?
- What is the common good, and how can we work for it within our own communities?
- How can young people influence the development of the country today?
🎯 The objectives of the Forum are:
- to create a space for dialogue among young people with different experiences and perspectives;
- to unite participants around a shared vision of Ukraine’s future;
- to deepen understanding of the challenges and value-based dimensions of the country’s reconstruction;
- to help participants articulate the needs of young people and their communities;
- to provide knowledge and practical tools for developing their own socially beneficial projects;
- to foster an environment of trust, cooperation, and mutual support.

🌱 What will we discuss at the Forum?
The Youth Forum “The Future of Ukraine We Want to Build” will serve as a platform where young people from different regions, religious traditions, and worldviews can openly discuss values, pain, and the future. Together we will:
- discuss the directions, priorities, and values of Ukraine’s reconstruction;
- learn how to articulate the needs of young people and influence decision-making;
- gain the knowledge needed to transform ideas into real projects;
- begin work on the joint document “The Future of Ukraine: A Youth Perspective.”
🚀 An Important Requirement
We are looking not simply for participants for a single event, but for young people who are willing to work as part of a team throughout the entire project—developing their own project ideas for Ukraine’s reconstruction and presenting them at the Second and Third Forums. This is an opportunity not only to learn but also to accomplish something tangible for your community and your country.
🎯 The Main Goal of the Project
To help young people become creators of change rather than mere observers.
Therefore, the project activities are designed to:
- create a shared space for dialogue;
- increase awareness of practical mechanisms for contributing to Ukraine’s reconstruction;
- develop participants’ own ideas and projects that will serve the common good of Ukraine.
Following the Forum, participants will work in teams, take part in webinars, mentoring sessions, dialogue events, and develop their own project ideas for their communities.
At the conclusion of the programme, the teams will present their work at the subsequent project forums and contribute to the development of a shared vision of the values and priorities that should guide Ukraine’s reconstruction.

The project is implemented by the NGO Sofiyske Brotherhood with the support of the Government of Germany through the ifa/zivik programme.
For security reasons, the exact venue and starting time of the Forum will be communicated directly to registered participants.
