The NGO Sophiyske Brotherhood and the Kyiv Aviation Institute are pleased to invite you to participate in the academic and practical conference “Common Good: Values and Meanings Around Which the Reconstruction of Ukraine Is Possible.”

The conference will take place on June 2, 2026, in Kyiv and marks the launch of the project “Youth for the Future of Ukraine”—a seven-month programme for young leaders and activists from Ukraine’s small towns and villages, implemented with the support of zivik/IFA (German Federal Foreign Office).

Conference Objective

The question of the common good has become particularly urgent in the context of the ongoing war and Ukraine’s future reconstruction. We seek to bring together researchers, practitioners, and civil society leaders to reflect together on the following questions: Around which values and meanings can Ukrainian society be consolidated? What should the common good mean for people with different experiences and different visions of the future? And what role should institutions, civil society, and spiritual traditions play in shaping it?
